URRC Pilot Scheme for Community Venue for Mediation
The Joint Mediation Helpline Office (“JMHO”) and Urban Renewal Authority, with the support of the Department of Justice and Home Affairs Department invite Mediators and parties to mediation to use the following venue for mediation under the URRC Pilot Scheme for Community Venue for Mediation:

Eligibility

Nature of disputes are related to urban renewal, building maintenance and management, property valuation, building and construction; as well as land and property matters in Urban Renewal Authority’s redevelopment areas and rehabilitation service areas
|
Hours
|

|
10:00am to 6:00pm on Monday to Saturday (except public holidays)
|
Fee
|
:
|
HK$48/ hr per room (waived for pro bono mediators). Photocopying and printing facility are available at the URRC at prevailing charges.

Booking
|
:
|
1.
|
obtain Booking Form, Evaluation Form, Terms and Conditions and Terms of Reference from JMHO or download from JMHO website
|
|
|
2.
|
complete the booking form and submit to the JMHO by email, fax or post 7 clear days prior to the date of the actual use of the mediation rooms
|
|
|
3.
|
confirmation of the booking by the JMHO
|
|
|
4.
|
payment shall be made by cash or cheque payable to “Joint Mediation Helpline Office Limited” no less than 2 working days before the actual usage of the Mediation Rooms or within 4 days of confirmation, whichever is earlier
