General Mediator Training Courses
|
HKMC provides the 40-hour General Mediator Training Course to people from different industries who intend to become professional mediators, and to those who wish to enhance personal abilities. It has more than 25 years of experience in organising such courses, and is the major institution providing such courses with a market share of around 50%. It has co-organised more than 350 sessions of General Mediator Training Course with many colleges and professional bodies, such as the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Lingnan Institute of Further Education, and St. James' Settlement etc. Over the years, more than 22,000 participants were trained.
Upon the completion of the 40-hour General Mediator Training Course, a “Certificate of General Mediator Training Course” will be issued to students who have achieved 100% attendance rate and have passed course-end assessment. With this Certificate, students can apply directly with the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (“HKMAAL”) for attempting accreditation.
